Common questions

How do I look up a Rust player's stats?

Paste a player's SteamID64 (17-digit number starting with 7656119) or their Steam profile URL into the search bar and press Enter. Results load instantly — no account or login needed.

What stats does RustLookup show?

K/D ratio, accuracy, headshot %, kills, deaths, shots fired, hours played, VAC and game ban history, last 10 servers, Steam inventory value, and up to 100 friends. A shareable stat card PNG can also be downloaded.

Can I use a Steam URL instead of a SteamID64?

Yes. Both formats work: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198XXXXXXXXX and steamcommunity.com/id/vanityname. Paste either and RustLookup resolves it automatically.

Why are a player's stats not showing?

Stats only appear on public Steam profiles. If a player has a private profile or private game library, gameplay stats and hours will be hidden. Ban history is always visible regardless of privacy settings.

Is RustLookup free?

Yes, completely free. No account, no email, no paywall. Paste an ID or URL and get instant results.

Can I check if a Rust player is VAC banned?

Yes. RustLookup shows VAC bans, game bans, and days since last ban for any public Steam profile. This works even on private profiles.

Can I look up Rust servers on RustLookup?

Yes. The Servers page lets you search any server by name and see live player counts, wipe dates, map seed, and a full map preview. Click any result to open its detail page.

What does a server detail page show?

Online status, current and max player count, global rank, map seed and size, last wipe date, a full map image, and the current player list. Connect with Rust+ to also see live vending machine prices, CCTV camera feeds, and team chat.

How does Rust+ live tracking work?

Pair RustLookup with your Rust+ companion app on the server detail page. Once connected, you unlock live vending machine stock and prices (with map grid references), CCTV camera snapshots from any camera added to your Computer Station, and a real-time team chat feed — all in the browser.

Can I see vending machine prices in the browser?

Yes — after connecting Rust+, the Vending Machines panel shows every active shop on the map with item icons, prices, stock levels, and grid square locations. Search by item name to find the best deals without opening the game.

Can I view CCTV cameras from the browser?

Yes. Once Rust+ is connected on a server page, enter any camera identifier (e.g. DOME1 or OILRIG1L) in the CCTV panel to get a live snapshot. The camera must be added to a Computer Station in-game first — the same requirement as the Rust+ mobile app.
